If you’re looking for a good cup of coffee without the fancy flavors and toppings, Smooth Joe is your answer! I love their iced lattes and they have a few flavors to choose from. What I love most about Smooth Joe is the consistency. I never have to worry about being disappointed by the food, drinks, or service. And even better, it’s reasonably priced. Truly a hidden gem of coffee shop in Raleigh.

Drinks were perfect. I wish they had more salad and sandwich options. The servers were so helpful. Very nice place for quick meetings, catchups.

This is my everyday coffee spot and I absolutely love it. The coffee is always delicious and, most importantly, consistently good every single time. It’s one of those places you can count on when you need a great cup to start your day. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. It has that true local neighborhood café feel where you see familiar faces and feel comfortable stopping in regularly. Great coffee, great people, and a great vibe. I’m always happy to stop by and it’s definitely part of my daily routine! ☕️😊

Stopped by on a Wednesday morning and found it nice and quiet with quick, friendly service. I ordered an iced latte and a cinnamon roll — they warmed up the roll, which helped since it didn’t seem to be the freshest, but the coffee was solid. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. I just wish they had a few more pastry options to choose from. Still, for about $10 for a coffee and cinnamon roll, you really can’t go wrong.

A lovely coffee shop. The smell hits you when you walk through the door, which I love. The food was great, the coffee was lovely, the employees were very nice and easy to talk to. The food and coffee came out in a timely manner and it was delicious. Very relaxing area inside and out.
